Dr. David Cowart is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with more than 16 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. As the founder of Summit Mohs Dermatology, he is dedicated to delivering precise, patient-centered skin cancer care.
Dr. Cowart earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his dermatology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
He then completed an ACMS-accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Vermont, receiving advanced training in the treatment of complex skin cancers and facial reconstruction.
During his military career, Dr. Cowart cared for thousands of service members, veterans, and their families, earning a reputation for surgical excellence and compassionate care. He now brings that same commitment to the patients of Summit Mohs Dermatology.

Angela Cowart brings extensive experience in organization, operations, and patient-centered service to her role as Practice Administrator at Summit Mohs Dermatology.<br><br>
Working closely with Dr. Cowart, she plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice and creating a welcoming experience for every patient.
